P&I Inspection
In today's world of strict maritime regulations, the shipowner must maintain compliance and offer protection to seafarers. The marine P&I surveyor (or local correspondent) performs inspections onboard to identify a ship's seaworthiness and make recommendations based on findings to make shipping safer and more efficient. A routine P&I survey also ensures peace-of-mind and promotes a culture of trust and safety on board. Therefore, P&I surveys have proven to be indispensable to the shipping industry. Our P&I surveys help customers minimize risks, maximize operational efficiency, and improve environmental and safety of those on board.
Pre-Vetting Inspections
Pre-vetting Inspection For Oil, Chemical and Gas ships - In today's environment of high safety standards and competitive advantage, Oil Major approvals for the vessels have become a necessity much more than anything voluntary. Lack of sufficient approvals from Oil, Chemical and Gas Companies can mean life and death for a tanker Operator in terms of availability of business. Our inspectors, who themselves are accredited vetting inspectors carry out thorough inspections on the lines of SIRE,CDI, RIGHTSHIP & OVID, to appraise you about the current compliances of the vessel for these programmes. We can help you fill the gaps and assist the ship's staff in preparing the vessel for the most stringent inspections. Our approach is to develop a customized service with the client that encompasses their specific needs for a certain type of vessel or operation on the basis of the outcomes of a risk assessment. We use the experience of our work in damage and incident investigations in order to allow clients to focus on those items which present the highest risk of failure.
Marine Surveys including Pre-Purchase, On/Off Hire condition and Draft Surveys

Foreign garbage is regulated by Customs Border Protections (CBP). Trash includes cardboard, packing material, ash and general refuse that is generated by normal ship operations. It does not include dunnage, lashing or other items generated in the course of ship’s cargo. Oil waste includes oily rags, wipers, drained filters and absorbents.
Bunker Quantity Surveys , Bunker Detective Surveys, Bunker Lab Analysis
Bunker fuels often have the largest impact on vessel operational cost. The operational cost of bunkers, especially with distillate, HFO & VLSFO remains a significant component of costs. There are numerous cases of malpractices such as bunker fuel shortage, bad quality, incorrect density, erroneous trim/list calculations, defective gauging tapes, faulty flowmeters, flawed strapping tables, magic pipes, and temperature manipulation. At Alphamarines.co the bunker quantity surveys prevent shipowners from falling into these tricks and traps set by suppliers. Our independent surveyors monitor the entire bunkering operation process and ensure that the total ordered fuel quantity is supplied.
